Learn about, compare, and research a variety of common animals to see how they are similar or different from each other with this animal tracks measuring activity!
Included are 28 prints to measure, representing 25 different animals. Students use a ruler to measure the size of animal tracks on the next two pages. Then, record the lengths on the appropriate recording sheet. Make sure your student records whether they measured in inches or centimeters!
Then, you may want to use these tracks as a guide as you search for animal tracks outside in the snow, mud, or sand!
Note: Tracks have been provided in average size for each of the animals. Real animal track sizes will vary.
See the blog post about animal tracks measuring for more information. The Line upon Line Learning VIP Resource Library has a free, sampler version of this product. It has 14 prints from 11 animals. This product has twice as many animal prints.
