  • Longer informational book with the same text as the PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations, plus a printable booklet version.
  • Extension activities for the longer book, including comprehension questions, an informational chart, a compare-and-contrast Venn diagram, a K-W-L chart, and a cut-and-paste map activity.
  • Shorter informational book and booklet provided in two versions: one with illustrations and one without. A separate cut-and-paste image page allows students to assemble their own illustrated booklet.
  • Extension activities for the shorter book, including picture-matching, tracing, and a simplified homes-on-the-map activity featuring five home types.
  • PowerPoint and Google Slides versions for whole-class instruction or digital learning. These can be accessed via download and via Google Drive.
  • STEM extension project with suggested building materials for each type of home, a general STEM supply list, and a planning and testing worksheet for designing and building model homes.
