This is our first set of Flash Cards on the subject of Fractions, Decimals and Percentages. The flash cards feature simplest fractions on one side, and equivalent values on the back. The equivalent values include fractions to simplify, percentages, decimals, fraction circles and fractions of amounts. They are best when printed on card.
The files are organised for best use with both Double-Sided and Single-Sided printers.

Recognize and generate simple equivalent fractions, (e.g., 1/2 = 2/4, 4/6 = 2/3). Explain why the fractions are equivalent, e.g., by using a visual fraction model.
CCSS4.NF.A.1
Explain why a fraction 𝘢/𝘣 is equivalent to a fraction (𝘯 × 𝘢)/(𝘯 × 𝘣) by using visual fraction models, with attention to how the number and size of the parts differ even though the two fractions themselves are the same size. Use this principle to recognize and generate equivalent fractions.

Use decimal notation for fractions with denominators 10 or 100. For example, rewrite 0.62 as 62/100; describe a length as 0.62 meters; locate 0.62 on a number line diagram.
