I cannot believe it is already time for another week in review. This week has been fun! I am still enjoying a much more relaxed homeschool, and it is doing great things for my stress levels. I believe Raisin enjoys it too. This week can be summarized as “PLAY.”

Since Strawberry’s birthday was last Saturday, I’ve been letting the kids play with her new present from Grandma (a Little Tikes plastic grill and plastic dishes). Raisin always loved pretend cooking (he used the Little People house as a “microwave”), but we have never had a pretend kitchen at home until now. It has been fun watching the kids play together.

In addition to letting the kids play, this week I’ve been playing with my new laminator! I never thought I would need one, but with all the games we’ve been playing lately, it has come in handy! Now we will have games that will last a long time. It’s also given me ideas of things I can make for my daughter, who is not in a stage of eager learning and playing. I can’t wait to share some of my ideas with you in the coming weeks!

This post is brief, but that’s because the kids want to go play some more. So I’m off for the weekend! See you Monday!
