Week in Review: Some Co-op Prep

This week I’ve been busy working on my notes for the Literary Elements Writer’s Workshop that I will be teaching for my homeschool co-op in September.

I’ve made four-pocket folders for my students. (Kudos to the person who first created these and pinned the idea! I don’t know who you are.)

I sharpened pencils for the writing center station (see yesterday’s post).

WP_000239I’ve read a few different books about the Six Traits. I’ve also been posting about the Six Traits on Sundays.

Then I made signs for the co-op classroom to set up different “stations.”

I still am working on figuring out games to play with the kids each week to solidify the concepts. Do you have an ideas for fun language arts games for K-4th graders?

My freebie this week is those Writing Center station signs. You can get it for free at the blue download button below. Let me know if there is a sign you wished I had included and I’ll add it right away!
