Let your students practice writing their own Goldilocks and the Three Bears story by illustrating this simple one!

Included are two templates for the Goldilocks story, one with the words of the story written for them and the other with blank primary-grade lines for the student to write their own words as well as draw the pictures.

Your students will learn what it takes to create a story, including learning about authors and illustrators and their roles in a text, sequencing a story, telling a story through illustrations and/or words improving a story for clarity, and (if you share with one another) getting feedback on how to make their illustrations more clear.
