- George the Drummer Boy by Nathaniel Benchley, with pictures by Don Bolognese (HarperCollins, 1977). The book is about a British drummer boy for the British army in Boston who is present at the battles of Lexington/Concord (the “Shot Heard Round the World”) during the American Revolution.
