DRAGONBOXThis week I’m focusing on an app that helps teach and practice basic algebra…for young children!

By using images, children learn to balance both sides of a page in order to get the solution. It’s tricky the way math is made in to a game, but never mind, because the game is fun!

Below I have a video of my son demonstrating a little bit about the game. He had fun making this video with me!

DragonBox Algebra is available for many different devices. It’s a little price for stingy old me, but I have found that it has been well worth it! Visit www.dragonboxapp.com for more information.

Have you written on your blog this week about some technology that you use in your teaching and/or planning?

  • It could be any website, app, video, youtube channel, or audio file that helps you in preparing lessons or in your teaching.
  • It can be about technology in the classroom or homeschool.

Link up below so we can find your post! I also ask that you include a link back to my blog so others can find the linky and get ideas. Feel free to include the button if you desire.
